Due to warming weather condition and rain on the way we are closing all LVSR trails as of 11:59PM February 9th 2020.

Please respect the landowners and stay off trails.

If you have any photos please feel free to share them.

USE CAUTION – Trails OPEN 2/7/20 9:00AM

 

Trails are open, use caution.  There are a lot of water holes/standing water.

With all of the ice please watch for downed trees and branches throughout the are.

Trail Conditions

Since the annual and State required trail signing is not complete, no segments are 100% signed nor inspected for safety. This means the LVSR trail system is NOT opened. Should you wish to see the trails signed, inspected and opened sooner, please contact the trail coordinator closest to your home to volunteer. The rest of the Club will continue to work as fast as we can and hopefully more snow will be coming.

SNOWMOBILE OPERATOR COURSE
YOUNG SNOWMOBILE SAFETY COURSE FOR AGES 10  THROUGH 18 YEARS
*** PLEASE NOTE: ALL OPERATORS OF A SNOWMOBILE AGES 10 THROUGH 18 MUST HAVE A SNOWMOBILE SAFETY CERTIFICATE TO OPERATE A SNOWMOBILE OFF OF THEIR OWN PROPERTY OR TO CROSS PUBLIC HIGHWAYS. ADULTS MAY ALSO TAKE THIS COURSE IF THEY DESIRE.
PLEASE PLACE ON YOUR COMMUNITY CALENDER THE FOLLOWING SNOWMOBILE SAFETY COURSE, PRESENTED BY THE YATES COUNTY SHERIFF’S SNOWMOBILE PATROL UNIT.
THIS COURSE IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC. BOTH SESSIONS MUST BE ATTENDED. THE COURSE IS EIGHT HOURS AND CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 25 PEOPLE.
